A New Year

Happy New Year Everyone! I've been enjoying a little slower pace, getting outdoors,
a coastal get away, some galleries, and reflecting on the past and new year. Time seems to move more quickly with each new year, just like my mom use to say. Sometimes I am overwhelmed with all I want to accomplish – all at the same time! That's when I most need a walk in the park. I really do love some down time to catch up with cleaning, organizing, and getting around the world via the internet. (comfortable traveling) Our old power pc Mac died with a power outage in the midst of holiday sales. We finally got the boot , :-) , we needed to head to the mall Apple store and slide the card. It was fun to be in the company of all the genuises . I now can get around the web soooooo much faster. Love it. Lion operating system (skipped leopard) and lack of familiar software is going to require some extra time getting up to speed. A website redo overdue. I never lack for projects! And the studio is calling. Clean, a bit chilly yet, lonely for some activity – soon.

It has been a busy few weeks in the studio in between events, getting work done for the next show. It's been great seeing everyone at the sales I've been participating in. Art Hop was so much fun and the evening was full of festive visitors. The holidays are fast approaching and winter has arrived with frosty nights and mornings here in the valley. The plants are all tucked away for protection and it is time to clean up the studio, rake up some leaves (was that some wild wind or what!) for the:

Here is a peek at more plates ready to fire up for the December 1st Art Hop. Last weekend at Kliszewski's Annual Holiday show we had a great crowd with sales resulting in empty spaces in my display. Thanks to all you local folks who made it a successful weekend. We will be back this Thursday, December 1st for Fresno's Art Hop downtown. I always love the seeing the studio lit up for evening hours. It really is magical. I will have new work just out of the kiln ready to hold holiday treats. Judy Gregerson has promoted successful shows in the Bay Area for the last 21 years and has recently moved back to Fresno where her roots are. Judy is bringing her Santa's Bag Fall Boutique which features handcrafts from local artists to Fresno for the first time this coming Friday and Saturday. The event is hosted by Judy and Linda Holloway in Judy's home yard and Cottage on Wilson Ave. in the Old Fig Garden area of Fresno. The show is juried to eliminate duplication and to ensure quality. A sad goodbye today.
Molly passed away peacefully in her bed early this morning. this picture was taken in August of '07 but it could have been yesterday. She had a good day at the park, a visit with Sofie and an evening walk. She was there as usual as we ate dinner - watchful and waiting for a shared morsel. I am grateful for her companionship for ten years and that she passed peacefully. I will miss her so much. At a recent vet visit I was told her heart rate was unusually low. She was on meds and doing well, but I guess it was her time to depart. She had a good last day with us.

October is really beginning to look like fall harvest in the studio. The first batch is heading downtown for Art Hop at the Kliszewski Glass Studio ... tonight. In a couple of weeks another batch will be ready in time for a new Fresno Boutique in an Old Fig Garden Cottage. There will be more details later. Check back as the season has officially begun!

The sun is heading south and fall is officially here. I like how the sun now comes in my studio window giving such an artistic light to pieces as they dry. Gentry Magazine is a high-quality on line magazine targeting the markets of San Francisco, the peninsula, and the silicon valley. The Palo Alto Festival of the Arts is advertised in the recent issue with some stunning examples of the work you'll find there. I am pleased to have one of my pieces selected - page 45 . So grab your new ipad, iphone, (I wish!) imac, or whatever platform you are comfortable with and check it out. This media company has a family of online magazines that I have just begun to view and can't wait to explore some more. It seems every day I hear of a new publication on line. I'm afraid it's the future- ready or not, and I am not. Maybe I will be when I can read an ipad sitting in my garden with no reflection. Apple are you listening? Are you there yet and I don't know about it. I'll be stopping by the Apple store when I am on University Ave next week. And while I am on University, another must visit is Cafe Venetia for my northern Italian coffee experience. I hope to see you there.

This summer seems to be passing at lightning speed. I'm back from a week long vacation/reunion with family in the Washington state area. It's rare I get away for so many days and the trip was full of magical sights and reconnecting with loved ones that with distance and busy lives, the opportunity to hang out and gab is rare. Plenty of good food, museums, nature hikes, gardens, and family reminiscing . A nice break

The ACGA show in July was a great. My best in a while. This year the Clay and Glass festival was moved to Rinconada Park, across from the Art Museum in Palo Alto. Show crowds were there early and I met many new customers who were curious about the happening in the park, and accidentally discovered this great show. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. I think it's good to mix things up occasionally and have a new perspective. I'm again looking forward to being back in the area. This time on University Street August 27th and 28th for the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts. I'm back at work and will have lots of new work for this show. I can't believe the year home stretch is quickly approaching. I hope everyone is having a great summer and keeping cool if you live in an unusually hot summer weather spot. Maybe these pictures will help.

Fire Up !

With a week out from the Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival, the making of work was completed last night with these hand built blooms to top off some new vases. Time is running tight to get them dried, fired, and glazed fired by next Friday morning. In the meantime it looks like I will be cranking up a kiln almost daily to get the rest of the work through. I have two kilns but can only fire one at a time. I call this sauna week. Especially here in Fresno with another string of triple digit days ahead. Now I have to do some calculating to schedule the firing and cooling times of two bisque loads and two glaze firings.

Summer Color

It feels like summer has finally landed in Fresno. 107 yesterday. Triple digits this week and the swamp cooler is is going morning to night. The heat has me thinking my work needs a little spot of color for energy. I do love the cool turquoise and greens, but to ward of the afternoon heat induced sluggishness, I'm liking the effect a dash of red-orange adds to a design. Some bright colors and iced coffee will keep me moving through this warm week.

I am getting anxious to start pulling plants from their winter hideouts. Many I have are fast approaching their growing season. I love to see the tender new growth emerge and the long stalks some produce, reaching way out until a usually tiny but complex bloom appears. The whimsical proportions and sometimes such precariously attached plump leaves, never fail to amuse and inspire me. They are like performers and their acts change daily. I've been entertaining myself taking photos and playing with pixels on the computer getting up- close looks. This can be fascinating stuff and a great exercise in exploring some new ways of working.

it is fun to imagine my studio in a snowy Christmas setting. Both my parents, now gone, grew up on ranches here in California. My mom on the west side of Fresno, not far from my studio, and my dad in Mariposa (where it does snow). i think that sense of heritage rooted in my genes is why i still live where I do. As the old wood barns give way to time and rusting cars become part of the landscape, I see and feel a sense of time, place and belonging in a part of town often neglected. I live on two and one-half acres where cotton once grew. My studio, once a tiny tractor garage, will welcome you with holiday offerings to purchase, in ceramics and gemstone jewelry, hand crafted by "vintage" makers! (at least two of us ... Fletcher and I have both been at it for over thirty years!) We hope you will venture out for a hot drink and share some holiday cheer ... and no traffic!

Fall Colors

It seems I am never sorry to see the month of August pass. A dry, dusty, hot month in the valley. My last weekend of the month was spent in Palo Alto where I got a jump on the fall weather, falling leaves and all. University Street sycamores seemed anxious to drop their leaves and cool temps were a nice break from the high triple digits earlier in the week. The show was good for me and my show neighbors. It was nice to come home feeling hopeful for the season ahead. There is so much buzz about the economy and the tough times many artists are experiencing. Attendance seemed up with shoppers eager to buy. I have done the Palo Alto Art Festival for many years and last year was my slowest. I'm not sure what to attribute the upbeat vibe this year - the weather, my new work, or the community's willingness to support this long running event in uncertain times. Community support would not surprise me, the customers are the most gracious in this Stanford university community. I am thankful I had a decent show and so happy to have returned inspired with a glimmer of better times ahead for the arts.

Coming Along

Here is some new work just out of the kiln. The last week has been a bit bumpy hitting some snags with equipment acting up. An old compressor was recently replaced along with a spray gun to replace the one that was dropped on the concrete. I must say dropping the gun turned out to be a blessing in disguise since my new Harbor Freight detail sprayer is so much easier to use. New gun, new compressor ... good to go? not so. As far as I can figure the hoses, possibly decades old, seemed to be clogging up the whole system - over and over and over with tiny bits of rotting rubber. Nothing another trip to Harbor Freight (across town) couldn't cure with a properly placed air filter and a new hose. Of course it is August triple digits in Fresno, (my least favorite month) and work is backing up as my attempt to avoid the dread of a last minute firing schedule is looking less likely - oh,

and on the kiln front, my firings seem to be taking longer and longer, perhaps new elements in my future?

The good news is I will have lots of work for the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts next week.

I must get back to glazing but hope to post new pictures soon!

Summer Pace

It's been two weeks since returning from the ACGA show in Palo Alto and my last post. Returning home I found

summer has really set in and I seem to be moving in low gear. The show has become a blur but the fact it continues to be my favorite and best show still holds true. It's so much fun meeting and greeting new and returning customers. I'm especially thrilled with the early frenzy I seem to experience at the show beginning and I never tire of hearing how much you have enjoyed your previous purchases. Cups were popular so I'm back at it to have more soon. Upon returning I did find out I will be participating in the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts, on University street on August 28th & 29th. I will have lots more cups and work with the end of year holiday gift season in mind. I'll be showing you some of the work that will be making a trip back up to PA a bit later along with more information where you can find me at the festival.

I hope everyone is finding ways to stay cool and enjoy the summer.

With Some Help From My Friends ...

I'm getting ready for the ACGA Clay & Glass Festival this weekend in Palo Alto. I usually spend at least a day or two working out my booth. This is the part most customers don't know about–the time spent getting ready. Pulling parts out of storage and arranging stands and tables to best show what you have. Considerably more parts are pulled out than used and then need to be put back. Yesterday was so windy here it was close to impossible to work outside so I'll continue today before it gets too hot. A shelf or two needs some paint, round up table covers and I should be good to go. Inside the studio, two kilns are cooling and a I have a small glaze load to finish and fire in order to have out in time to pack and load up by Friday morning. All in a weeks work!

Summer Schedule

It's time to move racks back into place and get the studio in working shape after our open studio last Saturday. It's clean and organized – always incentive to get started again. I am looking forward to the upcoming Clay & Glass Festival in Palo Alto, July 10 & 11 and have gained momentum in directions I want to go for new work. Thanks to everyone who dropped by and the nice complements and interest in my work and garden (always a work in progress!). Here in Fresno with our hot summers, so many events are squeezed into the weekends prior to the summer heat. We very much appreciate those who venture a little out of the way to visit. Annual Plant Show & Sale.

You'll see the largest selection of succulents for sale in our area. There are several pot makers who will be selling handmade pots so you can create a wonderful display piece for your home and garden. I'm sorting, packing and even still glazing work to have for this weekend's Annual Group Spring Sale at the Kliszewski Glass Studio. This is my first show of the year and your chance to see what ideas I've been exploring and the resulting work. If you've been to the Kliss' studio you already know how colorful it is and when all the artists are set up with new work, it is truly a blast of colorful springtime inspiration. Some quick clay sketches. Not one to do a lot of sketching on paper, I prefer going directly to clay. This helps work out forming techniques and I often see new forms emerge. The clay seems to direct me to new shapes. Sometimes I fire them, sometimes not. Sometimes they are trashed. Lately I've been saving them to do something special.

A break from doing taxes that is. I can barely hang in there to get through them. I am a recovering tax extension addict. I have catching up to do and it is not pleasant. I will soon meet with my guy. Head down, folders in hand.

No gold star for me. He awards stars to special clients. I found out last year when I saw a woman proudly accepting her award. I never knew. But how would I have known – you earn them by being prompt and well organized. I thought this year I'm going to receive a star! Well ... that's not going to happen. Not this year anyway. But I am racing against time to avoid the extension form. This is my year! Recovery is in sight. I may make it. Unable to sit for long at this accounting thing. I find myself out in the studio. Nervously forming small amounts of clay into whatever wants to happen. It is my way of being. It comforts me, and it's just too early for a glass of wine.

Some spontaneous variations on vases I have done in the past for the upcoming spring shows. Completely hand formed they will each have unique personalities. Gerbera daisys are out in all the stores now, and the colors are amazing and uplifting. When these are glazed I hope they will complement these colorful flower stems perfectly. I think I need to get more! In all colors!

Out Of The Kiln

It is wet and gray outside but I think the lack of light taking these pictures suits these pieces pretty well. Some mysterious specimens and new bowls just came out of the kiln. I've been exploring new glazes, shapes and slip decoration. No spring-like day today, to lure me outside. It's quiet and warm in the studio and progress is underway.

I've started with some small forms to limber up my fingers, and tiles to test some new Duncan

cone 5 glazes. It is still chilly though. Tonight (inside on the kitchen table where it is warm) I'm using these protea cut flowers for inspiration for some more studies.

Molly has enjoyed our walks in the park between rain storms. She seems to know the odds of park time are more in her favor since the new year arrived.

In fact she's good at reminding me when it's not raining. I get the look.

Where I Left Off

These were in my last firing of the year. The firing consisted of things left sitting on the shelf passed over (for one reason or another) not completed earlier in the season. Some pieces get a second chance with the addition of some more glaze and fired again in hopes of better results before being hammered or delegated to "cat bowl" or "plant saucer" status. I do have a pretty loose approach to preparing this load since it is primarily to provide some warmth for my open studio holiday event. But as usual, the results for this, odds and ends load – pretty ho hum. With the exception of the above three. I see possibilities here. And how nice to end the year with an inspired thought ... what if ...

Last Sunday's Open Studio was such an enjoyable event for me. The weather can be iffy at this late date, but it couldn't have been better. And we had such a nice crowd of friends. I always tell people I have the best customers. Meeting and getting to know those of you who come to shows is one of the perks beyond measure. In fact, all of you out there that I saw during the past year, at one show or another, whether you purchased or not, I thank you! Thanks for stopping and saying "hi" – you know, checking in. With long hours spent in the studio, it means so much to see familiar and new faces interested in my work. And I am pretty sure I speak for most artisans out there when I say how special you are, when you acknowledge and take interest in the tradition of making things by hand.

I wish you a happy holidays. I hope you like your presents.

The weather forecast is looking good. Between the recent cold snap and the downpour this past weekend, I've been digging up decorations to get ready for a fun time. This is the third year for the Holiday Show at my home studio and my 30th holiday season selling ceramics. I feel especially compelled this year to get the lights up, the wreaths hung and add some special touches to celebrate. Joining me here are the usual suspects for the third year:

Larry Homan with hand-built pots for plants. He designs his pots for good drainage with succulents in mind, but has recently found an orchid and bonsai audience.

Karen Conley continues to put together semi-precious gemstone jewelry. She hunts down unusual ethnic beads and vintage glass to incorporate into designs with her unique flair. I see she has new pendants and some particularly festive earrings this year.

We will all be here to offer home baked holiday treats and one-of-a-kind gift ideas.

Just out of the kiln and delivered today, this fall-inspired porcelain box has begun it's journey to a new home.

Next weekend it will sit proudly on the silent auction table at the Eighth Annual Renaissance Banquet, a

fundraising event for Fresno Wildlife Rehabilitation Service. Under the direction of Cathy Garner the mission of the FWRS is to rehabilitate and return native wildlife to natural habitat and provide wildlife education. I have the utmost respect for Cathy and her staff of volunteers who work tirelessly in every aspect of the rescue and rehabilitation process.

One of the many events where you can see Cathy at work is when FWRS releases young rescued owls back into the wild after having been cared for until old enough to go out on their own. The public is invited and even allowed with guidance to participate in the actual release. It is an emotionally uplifting experience. I highly recommend it!

I urge you to visit their website and read more about the animals they care for and the educational services

they provide to schools, clubs and private companies.

Volunteers are always needed. It may be too late to attend the Banquet on October 17th, but cash donations and certain materials and services are always deeply appreciated.

The Palo Alto Festival show was slower than I had hoped it would be. The show had some great work and I did enjoy getting around and seeing many new artists I had not seen before. Everything was great except for sales. Slow shows these days don't come as too much of a surprise with California's struggling economy. I did make the most of it and spent time looking at my work displayed and made some sketches.

I'm now back in the studio surprisingly motivated with good direction of what I want to do ... stay tuned!

Palo Alto Here I Come ... Again

The Palo Alto Festival of the Arts is this weekend, August 22 & 23. I'll be there, I hope you will be too.

You can find me in Booth 110 on University just up from High Street. Since I won't be setting up until Saturday morning, Friday I plan on visiting the Cantor Art Çenter and then head over to the New Guinea totem garden, both on the Stanford Campus. I discovered the totems a few years back doing the show when a customer told me about them. My friends and I raced on foot around the campus to find them and got there just before dark, which I think may be the best time to go. You can follow this link for more information on them (and find more links from there). I suggest visiting at dusk for a fun, magical experience.

She read here in a previous post that I had regretfully not got any booth photos at the beginning of the show. A break in the summer heat gives me hope I can make it through another Fresno summer. Next week both BK and LK will be cookin' up some goods for the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts on August 22 & 23. Hopefully I will have things out of the kiln early enough to get some pictures of the finished pieces.

These succulents seem to be doing really well even though they get a good dose of hot afternoon sun.

I love the way Chris Sorensen's metal flowers stand out in the sun. They also cast such fun shadows.

There is a warm summer breeze outside and we are thankfully back below the one hundred degree mark. Let's hope we stay in the nineties and don't see another 112 this summer. After all, the nineties do seem more bearable after the recent run of triple digits. At any rate, the warm weather makes for quick clay work with careful monitoring of swamp cooler drafts and plastic to avoid warping and cracking from drying too fast.

Preparing and hitting the road for a show is always an effort to say the least. So it is always a good feeling when things go smoothly. I was pleased with the two kiln loads of work unloaded just hours before leaving. The three hour haul without incident brings the first sigh of relief. From the minute I arrived in Palo Alto it was non stop getting set up before dark and ready for a Saturday that turned out to be my best one day sales in recent years. It was a good show overall. Meeting and making new customers, getting to see some great work by other members, and better than average sales to boot! Then there is the after show party Saturday night with plenty of food and drink to cap off the day. What an enjoyable day. Sunday was a bit slower but the show ended being my best in the five years doing it. Thanks to everyone in the ACGA , and MLA for all the hard work everyone does to make this show possible. There is no other like it.

Feeling Spent ...

low on work, and creatively endangered. It happens. So I have cancelled my participation in the Danville Fine Arts Faire this weekend June 21st - 22nd. I will miss visiting this quaint town and the lovely crowd I met last fall. But don't worry, I will use my time wisely while I recharge by taking a much needed short break.

I'll be gathering ideas and inspiration for new work to have at the Palo Alto Clay & Glass Festival on July 11th & 12th. If you are a clay & glass enthusiast you must mark the dates and plan to attend. There is no other festival like this one in California. Go to the website and see all the super talents who participate. I hope I'll have the chance to see those of you I missed this weekend, in Palo Alto.

Summer Show

It was wonderful to see those of you who came out to the studio this past Saturday. We all enjoyed the day tremendously and we couldn't have asked for better weather. This year's 79 degree day was a godsend compared to last year's 112! It was the perfect day to see the gardens and studio, and of course all the thoughtfully made things everyone had on display and for sale. It was an amazing day and we were so happy to share it with you and appreciate so much, your support and friendship. This Monday has us back at work. If you missed us this time around we hope you can make it to the Holiday Open Studio in December when we all plan on being back. Have a cool summer!

A few things finished since my last post .

Hi everyone. I am still here working preparing for this Saturday's open studio sale. I have a busy week ahead

finishing up everything which means lots of glazing today.

I am trying to get as much done as possible which means clearing the shelves of things that have been sitting around for awhile. Odds and ends are good for spontaneous glaze combinations with a nothing-to-lose attitude. I think the above cracked bowl (a swamp cooler victim) will make a nice succulent planter providing it doesn't crack wide open. You never know what you might find.

I do hope you will drop by and visit with us !

Another cycle of claywork has begun. It all starts with the making which will go on for the next week or so to have new things for my home studio sale (June 6th). I recently pulled out some little square molds but only got one completed in time for the spring show. It sold immediately. Maybe because it was the only one or the fact that it was square, or void of my usual green glaze. It did look so white and fresh sitting there by itself. It was a porcelain clay, stained and finished with only a clear glaze. At any rate, for those of you who never had a chance to see it, here is a few more just completed yesterday and by the end of today there will be a dozen or so to choose from on Saturday June 6th. They are small (about 4" - 5") and provide a good warm up exercise to get some ideas flowing for this weeks work.

Salad Table Update

With the past two weekend shows behind us, we have a little break to pause and spend time in the yard and garden today. Here is what the salad table is looking like 42 days after planting. We've had several salads already and I love the convenience of it when preparing for shows has my mind on details other than organized shopping and meals. Even quick sandwiches packed with our fresh pickings makes me feel it has been so worth it. We purchased a new watering wand as it is requiring almost daily soaking and depending on the warmth of the day and winds, sometimes twice a day. There is not enough soil to hold adequate water for long. I guess it is time to get new seedlings started but I know it may be a bit tougher to maintain as Fresno heats up. I need to talk to the experts at the market for recommendations for the best seeds to try going into the heat of summer.

We can always count on our tried and true (usually) tomatoes, cukes, squash, eggplant and peppers!

Salad Table

We are seeing lovely little seedlings in our salad table. We were inspired to make this after catching a Martha Stewart episode one morning late in March. We only had to buy the screen material, seeds, and soil. It went together in less than an hour. The trellises are only to keep the cats from jumping up on it. Luckily it was covered when a recent major hail storm passed in the middle of the night. I think it would have suffered some serious wash out had it not been protected. It gets sprayed about twice a day now or when it seems dry from the strong winds lately. I love that it is high off the ground and I can easily study the progress. I could live on salads and there is nothing better than fresh clean organic greens you can pick right in your yard.

So far — so good. Everything seems to be doing well and the micro greens are just about ready to cut.

Here are some of the fired specimens/hybrids, I posted about three weeks ago! I can not believe it has been that long. Where is the time going ... mid April ... already? I have got to wrap up all my tax accounting I have shamefully neglected for so long. Enough spring time fun, travel and garden. It is studio work ahead as the spring show at the Kliss Studio is only two and a half weeks away! There is so much to do and really so little time, especially in clay time. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I did. Now I must get real busy and start to prepare for the:

Some Amazing Sights

I recently returned from a visit to the Monterey area with my family. In a short three days we saw some amazing things. You are guaranteed some awesome sights when you visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

I had not been in many years, just before the jellyfish tanks arrived. This trip our visit fell on opening day of the seahorse exhibit. With it being Easter vacation and a rainy day, it was very crowded but we were able to wiggle our way up to the glass. What can I say ... nature is totally amazing!!

Clayplant Hybrids

Last night I sat down and played a bit. Initially I was just doing some clean up, too late to start anything, when I noticed the petals had fallen off the iceland poppy in the vase. It caught my attention and I thought how much I liked it in it's new phase. Next thing you know I was working with porcelain clay to see what I could come up with. I think it is a spring thing. Anyhow it was a great exercise and you never know what you may find at the upcoming spring shows.

Down at Fulton's Folly

Here is a look at how the booth came together down at Fulton's Folly. It was a fun challenge putting it together, rounding up the old tables and props to fit in with the character of this antique collective. I owe many thanks to my neighbor who graciously offered to let me poke around his old tool shed and property to see what I could use. He made it all come together in one afternoon along with a thrift store run and visit to a friends to borrow the old pine table. I did see both familiar and new faces and I want to thank those who dropped in to say hi. Everyone at the collective were so accommodating and made me feel so welcome. Now with a little change in my pocket it is time to invest in some new kiln furniture to replace some pretty sad shaped shelves and chipped posts. I will be adding new pieces later in the week and I hope to give you a peek here of what things will be available during my stay there through the 29th of March.

except Wednesdays — 10:30 to 5:30.

I will be at Fulton's Folly tonight from 5 pm to 8 pm. I hope to see some new and some familiar faces . And just to remind you, my work will be there through March 29th, and I will be adding new work throughout the month. Art Hop March 5th

Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite Fresno haunts. It also happens to be the location I will be at for the upcoming March 5th Art Hop. If you are not familiar with Fulton's Folly and like old things, you are in for a pleasant surprise. I have long enjoyed browsing in this antique-collectable mall. I always find something I want. In particular I love the booths with vintage garden things, and have purchased some of the props you have seen me use in my booth displays. I've been a a fan of flea markets and thrift stores since college days and if you are a potter, most likely you also hunt for tools, forms, aprons, rags and inspiration in such places. Fulton's Folly has about 60 booths and the individual keepers of each space are friendly and do a great job in arrangement and display. It is one of the best I've been to. I find it very inspiring. I love unique items and how they spark my imagination in so many ways. Interesting for their shapes, wondering about it's previous lives, what was it used for or how I can repurpose something. I hope you will come see me at Art Hop. I will have many new items. It is a fun stop and visiting the only night they are open makes it more special. I love the spirit of this place, not to mention the wonderful goodies they set out to welcome art hop visitors.

I seem to have a thing for wire lately and wouldn't that little step stool be great in a display.
